Council of Community Services

Our Food Pantry Program served 1,251 households in Campbell County in 2018. We also provided 340 Thanksgiving meals to families that otherwise would not have had one and provided provided 558 Christmas Baskets to families in 2018 with the help of many community volunteers.

Qualified individuals and families can receive non-perishable and frozen food items from the food pantry once a month. Our Food Pantry program utilizes community food and financial donations. We strive to provide individuals and families with fresh produce and dairy items alongside longer lasting items such as canned goods to ensure nutritious meals.

This program also works with food pantry clients to give referrals for food stamps, employment services or other organizations to help them meet their needs. Our mission is to help our clients find long term solutions to the problems that are causing food insecurity.
